Touvent consists of two wings both of which have huge farmhouse kitchens, washing machines dishwashers, TV and videos, radio and CD/tape players. Each wing comfortably sleeps 9 in 4 bedrooms, and there are 8 bath / shower rooms. Cots and a high chair are also provided, although we have found that parents prefer to bring their own baby bedding.

The house is set in 7 acres, with an orchard, the 'parc', and the swimming pool garden. The large pool (12mx6m) is located in an enclosed garden which makes it safe for your children. There is a separate kids pool, only 50cms deep and lots of toys beside it. The pool garden has wonderful views over the Dronne river which divides the Charente and Dordogne departments, and there’s plenty of shade under the lovely old trees when you’ve had too much of the wonderful weather!

At Touvent there's table tennis, football, boules and a children's play area, (there's the TV and around 200 videos for those who can't do without!).
